Hoka Speedgoat 7 Men
HOKA Size Guide
Finding the right HOKA size is important for both comfort and performance.
HOKA shoes generally fit slightly smaller than shoes from many other brands. As a starting point, we recommend choosing half a size larger than your usual shoe size. For example, if you normally wear EU 38, you may prefer EU 38 2/3 in HOKA.
Use the size charts below and follow our measuring guide to find the right size.

How to Find Your HOKA Size
Measuring your feet is an easy way to find the right HOKA size. Measure both feet and use the measurement of your longer foot when choosing your size.
Tips Before Measuring
- Measure both feet, as one foot may be slightly longer than the other.
- Use the measurement of your longer foot.
- Wear the socks you normally use for running.
- If you are between two sizes, choose the larger size.
- HOKA shoes generally fit slightly smaller than shoes from other brands, so we recommend starting with half a size larger than your usual shoe size.
How to Measure Your Feet
- Place a ruler or measuring tape on the floor with the end directly against a wall.
- Stand with your heel against the wall while wearing your running socks.
- Measure the distance from the back of your heel to the tip of your longest toe.
- Repeat the process with your other foot.
- Use the measurement of your longer foot.
- Compare your foot length in centimeters with the HOKA size chart above to find your size.
HOKA Wide
Some HOKA models are available in Wide versions. These models provide additional room in the upper and can be a good option if you have wider feet or prefer a roomier fit.
HOKA Wide models are marked with "Wide" in the product name and provide approximately 3–4 mm of additional width in the upper.
HOKA Models That May Fit Differently
Most HOKA models have a similar fit in terms of length, but there are some exceptions. The following models may feel smaller than the standard HOKA fit:
- HOKA Bondi SR
- HOKA Mach 6 and Mach 7
- HOKA Cielo X1 2.0 and 3.0
- HOKA Speedgoat 7
- HOKA Tecton X 3 and Tecton X 4
- HOKA Rocket X 3
- HOKA Skyward X 2
- HOKA Mach X 3
- HOKA models with GORE-TEX, except Challenger 8 GTX
- HOKA Lifestyle models
New to HOKA? For the models listed above, consider choosing one full size larger than your usual shoe size.
Already wearing HOKA? For the models listed above, consider choosing half a size larger than your usual HOKA size.
Women's Models That May Fit Larger
Some women's HOKA models may feel larger than the typical HOKA fit. For the following models, we recommend choosing your usual shoe size rather than sizing up:
- HOKA Women's Clifton 10
- HOKA Women's Arahi 8
- HOKA Women's Arahi SR
- HOKA Women's Challenger 8
Finding the Right HOKA Fit
Your running shoes should feel secure around the heel and midfoot while giving your toes enough room to move comfortably.
Remember that the size chart is a guide. The ideal size can vary depending on your foot shape, the socks you wear and the HOKA model you choose.
If you are new to HOKA, start by measuring both feet and comparing the measurement of your longer foot with the size chart above.

Hoka Speedgoat 7
The HOKA Speedgoat 7 takes one of HOKA's most iconic trail running shoes and gives it a major performance update. Built for everything from everyday trail runs to long mountain adventures, it combines generous cushioning, dependable protection and aggressive grip for confidence across demanding terrain.
The biggest update is underfoot. For the first time in the Speedgoat series, HOKA introduces an SCF-EVA (supercritical foamed EVA) midsole, delivering a lighter, more responsive and energetic feel while maintaining the protective cushioning the Speedgoat is known for. With 37 mm of cushioning in the heel and 33 mm in the forefoot, there's plenty of protection for longer distances, while the 4 mm drop keeps the ride balanced and connected to the trail.
The upper has also been redesigned with a more durable and comfortable construction that securely wraps the foot. An updated heel counter improves lockdown and stability, helping you stay confident when navigating uneven and technical terrain.
Underfoot, the Vibram® Megagrip outsole features aggressive 5 mm lugs arranged to provide reliable traction across rocks, roots, mud, forest trails and loose gravel. The combination of grip, cushioning and protection makes the Speedgoat 7 remarkably versatile, whether you're moving quickly over technical trails or spending an entire day in the mountains.
For runners looking for one dependable trail shoe that can handle almost anything, the HOKA Speedgoat 7 delivers the cushioning, traction and durability needed to keep exploring mile after mile.
Why we recommend the HOKA Speedgoat 7
The Speedgoat 7 combines everything that has made the series a trail-running favourite with a more energetic underfoot feel. The new SCF-EVA midsole adds responsiveness without sacrificing protection, while Vibram® Megagrip and 5 mm lugs provide the traction needed for demanding terrain.
