EnRoute - for your personal best! Since its launch in 2017, EnRoute has quickly become Salming's most famous long-distance and training shoe thanks to its light weight, driven feel but at the same time enough reactive cushioning to provide a really comfortable run. Salming EnRoute is the natural choice for the Boston Marathon challenge as well as the early morning ride. EnRoute is the joy of running disguised as a shoe - a friend on the road regardless of technology or footing. To earn the position as Salming's road icon, we work to constantly develop and refine EnRoute. Based on runners' feedback and research, the 2018 model of EnRoute has been given more space in the toe box so that the forefoot can expand freely before and during the shot. This has been made possible by displacing ExoSkeleton ™ backwards but at the same time being careful to maintain ExoSkeleton ™'s ability to keep the foot in place, provide the desired stability and a really comfortable fit. The reactive and driven running feel that personifies EnRoute is created through the combination of Salming's midsole material - RECOIL ™, and the heel's extra damping unit - SoftFOAM ™ which has 70% better shock absorption capacity than standard EVA, to reduce the negative load that long rides on hard surfaces entail.
