At the heart of the Rocket X Trail is a lightweight A-TPU superfoam midsole, designed to deliver high energy return while keeping weight to a minimum. Inside the midsole, an H-shaped parallel carbon-fibre plate adds stiffness and propulsion, working together with the aggressive rocker geometry to create quick transitions and a fast toe-off when you're pushing the pace.
The lightweight mesh upper takes an equally performance-focused approach. A stretchy dynamic vamp allows the forefoot to expand naturally while helping maintain a secure fit at speed, and the minimal tongue reduces unnecessary weight. The result is a stripped-back race-day fit designed to keep you comfortably locked in without feeling restrictive.
Underfoot, HOKA uses a lightweight zonal rubber outsole with 3 mm lugs.
